Hillary Charnas

Hillary Charnas is a composer, sound designer, and multimedia artist. Her most recent designs include; Binding at PS122, Cooler at The Chocolate Factory, Princes of Waco at EST, Great God Brown at Columbia Stages, Keep the Change at The World Financial Center, Harvest at La MaMa, “So, How’s Life?” at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and One Flea Spare at Columbia Stages. Her work was selected for showcase at the 2007 Prague Quadrennial National Theater Exhibit. Hillary received the Connecticut Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Sound Design for The Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow at Yale Repertory Theater. She has been featured in Variety for her innovative theater sound work. Hillary is a 2005 graduate of The Yale School of Drama and is currently Summer faculty at Yale's Department of Music.
