Edward T. Morris is a Brooklyn-based set and projections designer.
Like many 5 year old Lego enthusiasts he dreamed of a job where he could play with colorful connecting blocks all day. Now he gets to do just that. He believes in the power of storytelling to increase empathy between people of diverse backgrounds and viewpoints.
Edward has an MFA from Yale School of Drama and BFA from University of Michigan. He is a Lecturer in set and projection design at The New School for Drama. He has been a guest lecturer at NYU Tisch, Connecticut College, Fordham University, University of Michigan, and Interlochen Center for the Arts.
He has designed for Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center, Goodspeed Opera House, Westport Country Playhouse, Weston Playhouse, Atlantic Theater Company, Yale Repertory Theater, Cherry Lane Theatre, LaMama, The Barrow Group, Opera Memphis, Lesser America, and Target Margin Theater among many others.
