Gina is a Brooklyn based lighting designer.
New York designs include productions at City Center, The Women’s Project, Roundabout Underground, The Public Theater, The Kitchen, Merce Cunningham, Alvin Ailey, PS122, La MaMa, Clubbed Thumb, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Company XIV and The 78th St Theatre.
Regional credits include productions at Williamstown Theatre Festival, Actors Theatre of Louisville, The Old Globe, Milwaukee Rep, Cleveland Play House, Asolo Rep, Two River Theatre Company, Bucks County Playhouse, Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Yale Rep, and Yale Baroque Opera Project.
Internationally, Gina’s work has been seen in South Korea, Dublin, Romania, Sweden, Vancouver, Toronto, and Edinburgh.
In 2012, Gina collaborated with Zane Pihlstrom and Austin McCormick to present John Adams’s A Flowering Tree at Boston’s Opera America Director/Designer competition.
Gina has been nominated for a Bessie Award (2012) and a NY Innovative Theatre Award (2010). Gina's lighting was exhibited at the Prague Quadrennial in 2007.
Gina has been the Associate Lighting Designer on numerous Broadway productions and National Tours, working frequently with Peter Kaczorowski and Paule Constable. She has also worked with Jennifer Tipton, Neil Austin, Chris Akerlind, Jon Clark and Matt Frey.
