Melissa Ng is a queer artist based in New York City, Hong Kong-born and Singapore-raised. In addition to her costume design work, she has video design abilities and a passion for film-making. She enjoys the highly collaborative process of designing for new and devised work. Her work as a costume designer is body-positive, playful and compassionate.
Melissa has taught design process at her alma mater UC-San Diego, as well as Texas Tech University. She reads scripts for Playwrights Horizons and is deeply interested in new play development and programming. Thrilled to be a part of the Wingspace community!
