A fantasia in which Rose Mary Woods in the last months of her life observes the presidential election of 2004 from a nursing home in Alliance, Ohio. Nixon's funny, fiercely loyal and deeply patriotic secretary for 23 years, testified that a slip of her foot when she reached for the phone produced the blank and buzzy Watergate tape. Streeetch! We meet her as she befriends and instructs a young orderly on life, dreams, politics and civic responsibility. She also has a few things to say about bingo. And Haldeman.
