Reid Thompson is a Brooklyn-based scenic designer for plays, musicals, and opera. Reid comes to set design from a background in contemporary art and painting; and having worked as a scenic artist for Broadway and The Metropolitan Opera. Whether designing for a 700-seat proscenium theater or a 30-seat storefront, a one-person play or a large cast musical, Reid is inspired by the places we choose to perform in, and always strives to create an environment where the space and the play meet organically.
