CHRISTOPHER VERGARA (Costume Designer) recent credits include: Once (Vinpearl Land, Vietnam), Hamlet (Lewis Center for the Arts), In the Heights (Orlando Shakes), In the Heights (Engeman Theatre), Kidnap Road (La Mama), The Golem of Havana (La Mama, Miami New Drama), The Last Word, What Do Critic Know? (NYMTF), Texas in Paris, Last Dance (York Theatre Company); Danza-de-Fernando (somedance company); like the eagle (DASH); Madame Butterfly, Kiss Me Kate, La Traviata, Pirates of Penzance (Brevard Music Festival); Harlequinade, Walpurgisnacht, Majisimas, Paquita (Les Ballets Trockadero). Broadway Associate credits include Free Man of Color (Lincoln Center Theater), The Visit (Lyceum), People in the Picture (Roundabout), Eclipsed (Golden), The Color Purple (Jacobs), and the recent revival of Once on this Island (Circle in the Square). He is the Associate for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast’s most recent domestic and international tours, as well as their upcoming European tour. Additional Associate credits include Ben Hur Live (Rome), Columbus (Royal Caribbean), The Secret Silk (Princess), and West Side Story, the first musical ever produced at the historic Felsenreitschule (Salzburg). As the Costume Coordinator for Les Ballet Trockadero de Monte Carlo he toured throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. He is an alumnus of The Professional Internship Program of The Juilliard School and a proud member of IASTE USA 829.
