Daniel Zimmerman
Scenic Design
Daniel is a multifaceted designer who works in a variety of design disciplines including theater, television, live events, experiential marketing, and store windows. He currently teaches scenic design at Ithaca College.

Daniel has also served as the Art Director at Industria Creative, an experiential marketing group that is responsible for the creation of pop-up shops, product launches, editor events, store windows, product packaging, and branding. Daniel lead designs for Vanity Fair, Google, Issey Miyake, Old Navy, Youtube, Teen Vogue, Fendi, BMW, Macy’s Christmas Windows, L’Oreal, Harry Winston, and many others.
Daniel has worked as an assistant/associate designer with George Tyspin, Christine Jones, Andrew Liberman, Andrew Jackness, Peter Wexler, and Tobin Ost, – on productions at regional theaters, opera companies, and Broadway.
He received his B.A. from Western Washington University with a degree in English Literature, and his M.F.A. from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Daniel lives in Brooklyn and Ithaca with his husband Andy and their scruffy sheep dog, Pamuk.
