Wingspace Theatrical Design and XO Projects invite you to a special conversation with the Belgian designer Jan Versweyveld. The in-house designer for Toneelgroep Amsterdam since 2001 and long-time collaborator of Ivo van Hove, Versweyveld’s work in New York this season includes A View from the Bridge, David Bowie and Edna Walsh’s Lazarus at New York Theater Workshop and the upcoming Broadway revival of The Crucible. Join us as we discuss his work as lighting and scenic designer, his approach to materials and his perspective on European traditions of stage design.
